Many staff and students have presented papers (Oral & Poster) at various Conferences/Seminars on different occasions at various parts of India.

Dr. M.V.V. Prasad received a grant of Rs. 1, 00,000/- (One Lakh only) from the AICTE, New Delhi and organized a Two - Day National Level Seminar on “Bulk Drug Industry - Opportunities and Challenges in India” on 28th and 29th July 2007 in a very grand manner. Sri R. Ranga Rao, Director, Drug Control Administration, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, had participated as the Chief - Guest and released the Proceedings of the Seminar, Pharmatron’07, containing 96 Articles contributed by the students and staff of various colleges from different parts of India. 21 out of the 96 articles published in Pharmatron’07 were contributed by the Students of this College. The Paper entitled “Bulk Drug Industry - Opportunities and Challenges in India” presented by Anisha*, Haripriya and Likhitha Raj of I B. Pharm had been chosen for the award of 1st Prize and were encouraged with a prize money of Rs. 3,000/-.

Four original research papers of Dr. M.V.V. Prasad have been published in various National/International Journals in the Year 2007. Several articles of him have also been appeared in the proceedings of various Conferences/Seminars during the year 2006-07. Many Students and Staff members of the college have also participated and presented Research Articles (Oral/Poster) in various Seminars/Conferences conducted at various occasions in different parts of India.

Dr. M.V.V. Prasad received a grant of Rs. 50,000/- (Fifty thousand only) from the Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, New Delhi and organized a Two - Day National Level Seminar on “Challenges and Opportunities in Pharmacy Profession” 8th and 9th August 2008 in a very grand manner. Dr. B.C. Jinaga, Rector, JNTU, Hyderabad participated as the Chief - Guest and released the Proceedings of the Seminar containing 268 Articles contributed by the students and staff of various colleges from different parts of India. A significant number of articles were contributed by the Students of this College. The winners selected for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and consolation prizes in both Oral and Poster presentations and were encouraged with a prize money of Rs. 2,500/-, Rs. 15,000/-, Rs. 1000/- and Rs. 500/- respectively.

Dr. M.V.V. Prasad has been offered a Financial Assistance of Rs. 2,00,000/- (Two lakhs only) by the AICTE, New Delhi to organize the Staff Development Programme for the duration of two weeks on “Challenges in Drug Discovery and Drug Delivery Research”. The programme was organized between 21st November and 4th December 2008.

Dr. M.V.V. Prasad has been offered a Financial Assistance of Rs. 7,00,000/- (Seven lakhs only) by the AICTE, New Delhi to organize the Staff Development Programme for the duration of two weeks on “Challenges in Drug Discovery and Drug Delivery Research”. The programme was organized between 28th October and 10th November 2009.

The staff and students of the college are constantly encouraged to participate in the national level Seminars/ Conferences for the Oral/Paper presentations. The staff members are also permitted to carryout the research work leading to the award of Ph.D. degree and allowed to attend the Q.I.P. programmes. Presently five staff members have been registered and are carrying out their research in different Universities of Andhra Pradesh leading to the award of Ph.D. degree.
